I have the hardest time throwing away spent blooms and so many are still beautiful and have a story to tell after their shining moment. So it felt right to make this still life include all the moments of the sunflower - you'll find bloom and opening blossom, full, bursting bloom and drooping petals, weathered curled petals and dried fallen leaves. There are even two little bug friends!
