The Artichoke Table Limited Edition Print
The Artichoke Table Limited Edition Print
Composition
I dream of tables under blue skies or striped umbrellas piled high with rustically perfect, semi-wild vegetables, things I've never heard of. Ancient things. And artichokes. Mountains of spring artichokes. The sun-warmed air fulled with a cadence I don't know well yet, words I don't understand. Because I long to eat in Italy and explore its lands, to absorb its illuminating way of preparing simply and respectfully the foods it lays on its tables. A springtime dream of artichokes just brought home and laid on a kitchen table.
