Fallen Pomegranates - A Month of Tables Series Day 15 - Limited Edition Print
Composition
Fallen Pomegranates
I started the day dreaming of a scene of pomegranates and couldn’t believe my luck when I found these branches from a nearby garden discarded on the side of the street! They are achingly beautiful. I had set out to find some pomegranate leaves to go with a store bought pomegranate but when I found the cut branches, loved the colors and shapes of the partially wilted leaves. The seasonal shift os symbolised in the leaves going from green on the right side to browning to bare branches on the left.
