Day 30 - Ode to a Sunflower
If I have learned nothing else from this project (and I have, in fact learned many things), it is that the going closer is where my heart speeds up, where the story is most vibrant, where the soul tends to swoon. There had to be sunflowers for the Summer Tables and this was the first to open in our garden. 💛 It became the center of a recreation of a detail from a Rachel Ruysch composition form 1710 ( swipe to see 2 views) and like any time one studies the masters through creating, much was learned and loved.
